Sam Sarpong Performs at Paparazzi Comedy & Variety Show - 2013 New Years Extravaganza

Bieber no Selener, Kim got Kanye for 18 years, and LA Clippers #1 team in Los Angeles so laugh it off. Supermodel Sam Sarpong and Vanessa Curry (Pussycat Dolls) performed cuts from their CD live at Paparazzi Comedy & Variety Show 2013 New Years Extravaganza at Jon Lovitz Comedy Club in Universal City on January 3.  Sam Sarpong accompanied by  Tselane  and “Keyvous” sang "Loose My Mind" a very upbeat hiphop mix, while Vanessa Curry performed in a dance trio with Cassandra  Stoppel and Angel D'Cole singing "Addicted to Love". Both songs are available on iTunes. Sam and Vanessa are the new Faces of KD Luxe Jewelry and Mirani Motors and  will be on the cover of next months Tightrope Magazine,  Hollywood breakout issue. Sarpong will be seen next month hosting as a fashion expert on the B. E. T. Oscar special with Access Hollywood’s Shawn Robinson, this spring he will star on the show "Average Dad" with Jamie Presley and Brent Goldberg. Curry will be in an upcoming movie "Dirty Laundry".


Paparazzi Comedy & Variety Show now every First Thursday is hosted  by Kente Scott (Antwon Fischer) showcasing Jarrod King on acoustic guitar featuring Brando Murphy (Sons of Comedy), Beth Payne, Dave Shelton (Writer of Every Body Loves Raymond) and headliner Julio Gonzales, one of the few comics to host his own weekend show at Jon Lovitz selling out each time. Yohay Sponder an Israeli Comic from Tel Aviv on tour used his language barrier to his advantage  providing non-stop laughter while paying homage to Dora The Explorer.

The show offers a combination of comedy mixed with Music. Celebrity guests attending included Oracle, Zhavea (recording artist), Trinity Marquez, Brooklyn McClinn (Parenthood), and Kitty Pleasant Event was covered by several media outlets including Jovi Bantalo, Koplitz Media, “The Shooter Diva”, Bob Delgadillo and Jospeh Pal.  

    Sponsors for the event were Kd Luxe Jewelry "live it, wear it, love it" hosting a private gifting suite for the celebrities in the green room, Bad Azz Shoes, and Partyby5 stocked the green room with light appetizers for the performers relaxing between sets while hosting a Redcarpet and interviews.


The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club located at 1000 Universal Studios Blvd., Universal City Ca, formerly BB Kings has had some of the greatest legendary comics from “The Tonight Show” ,“David Letterman”, “Comedy Central” and more to perform on stage.  Jon Lovitz himself performs a weekend set monthly at 8pm. The club has a complete staff equipped with a full bar on all three levels and  offers menu items catered from Jerry’s Famous Deli. General admission is $10 ages 18 and up.
