2015 American Film Market Opens In Santa Monica

The American Film Market (AFM) opened November 4th for its 36th edition, running through November 11th, 2015 at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel.

The global film industry converges in Santa Monica for this eight days of deal‐making on films in every stage of development and production, as well as screenings, conferences, networking and parties.

 More than 80 new buying companies will participate with the largest growth coming from South Korea, China, Germany and India.  Nearly 1,600 buyers are expected from more than 70 countries.

 AFM also announced updated screening numbers, with a total of 407 films screening in more than 30 languages including 87 world premieres and 242 market premieres. Hundreds of projects will also be unveiled for pre-sales by the 391 exhibiting companies from 38 countries.
