Skip the stress of the city and head to Karma (510 Illinois 83, Mundelein, IL 60060; 847-970-6900) in Mundelein for your Father’s Day celebration. If your father is like most, he loves sports, so Maxwell’s at the Club (500 N Kingsbury St., Chicago, IL 60654; 312-527-5800) is the perfect environment to celebrate with him. Located in the lobby at the East Bank Club, Maxwell’s Fatherís Day Brunch offers a wide variety of appetizers and salads, as well as entree and sides. A special feature of this brunch is the carving station with Roast Prime Rib with Au Jus and Horseradish Sauce, Roast Turkey with Cranberry Sauce and Honey Mustard, and Roast Rack of Lamb with Mint Jelly. Favorite menu brunch items will also be served, including an omelet and waffle station, Eggs Benedict, French toast with sauteed bananas and almonds, bacon, pork and chicken sausages. A tantalizing breakfast and pastry arrangement will also be offered.

Brunch, served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is priced at $45 for adults and $15 for children (10 years and under).
