Valentine’s Day 2014 Hot Spots

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and that means making plans for an evening that will be memorable for your partner and will leave you looking like you are a genius for putting together such an evening. To help make your decision a little easier, Splash Magazines Worldwide has put together a list of a few of our favorite spots.

Valentine’s Day dining at P.F. Chang's always equates to perfectly prepared Asian food and plates that lead to sharing and who would not love to have their loved one affectionately feeding them. Valentine’s Day hopefully doesn’t need a spark but if it does, P.F. Chang’s Firecracker Chicken has more than enough spice to ignite any relationship. The light and flavorful chicken breast that is subtly flavored with spicy hoisin is nicely balanced with wok-fired with pineapple, Chinese broccoli, Asian mushrooms and then to give you kick they have added Fresno peppers and dried chilies. This dish really takes you through every flavor sensation but you will not forget those peppers and chilies make sure your partner likes a little heat if you order this dish.

If that dish is a little too hot for you order the Vanilla Bean Bourbon Milkshake. This is the adult milkshake at its finest, Woodford Bourbon blended with vanilla bean ice cream, graham crackers and honey, served with a honey graham cracker pop. The bourbon really brings it alive and all of the flavors together form an amazing shake, but I have to warn you once you are done you are going to know that was an adult beverage.

To finish off your evening the Chocolate Raspberry Wontons are a must. These handmade, crispy wontons with a creamy chocolate-raspberry filling are completely addicting. Don’t find your date for the last one as you are dipping your last wonton in the chocolate and raspberry sauces that are topped off with fresh raspberries and mint, just order another batch. Hopefully this dessert takes up permanent residency at P.F. Chang's.
