TheFitExpo Anaheim 2015 - Pumping Up Orange County

TheFitExpo was introduced to Anaheim for the first time on August 22nd and 23rd and was a huge hit! Two days hardly seemed enough to take it all in and the weekend proved that Orange County was more than ready for this event.

The weekend was filled with celebrities including; Billy Blanks, Tito Ortiz, Kali Muscle, Tanji Johnson, Cris Cyborg, Eric the Trainer, Maria Kang (The Fit Mom), Mary Kaminski, Tamara and Eddie Judge, owners of Cut Fitness in Orange County, and many more. Not only were guests able to meet, talk to and take pictures with these fitness icons, they were able to participate in full-length classes give by these greats themselves.

Ultimate Armwrestling League, IronMan Naturally, the always entertaining MAS wrestling, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Badass Nutrition hosted TheFitExpo's Best Contest, which featured contests for men and women (arms, legs, abs and back).

For guests looking for the latest in health and fitness products, there were over 200 companies on hand to display their products, offer complimentary samples and provide their expertise. The Healthy Living Pavilion is always a treat and this year the highlight was the entertaining Chef Patrick Stark. From the easy and quick high protein breakfast alternative using yogurt and flavored protein powder to the fabulous turkey burger with peanut butter and bacon, Chef Stark showed that eating healthy can be tasty.

The National Pro Grid-League, GRID, put on an incredible show this weekend as teams from across the country battled all weekend. GRID has two co-ed teams competing head-to-head in a two hour match that uses, endurance, weightlifting and body-weight elemenets. Taking team competition to a new and entertaining level.

TheFitExpo Anaheim was such a huge hit, the dates are already set for next year, August 27th and 28th 2016.
