Kelsey Bohlen was born and raised in the small Texas town of Hondo. She developed a love for horses early in life and went on to have a career as a professional barrel racer at a young age. Her prosperous early career included winning multiple state and national titles.
Kelsey also had quite a knack for pageantry and was crowned Miss Rodeo Texas in 2006 and Miss Rodeo Texas Teen in 2007. She got her first break in the modeling industry by landing a national print ad campaign for Ariat Boot and Clothing Company. After that Kelsey has graced the cover of numerous magazines and modeled for brands including Wrangler, Julie Ewing Designs and J&V Cosmetics.
With the support of her two wonderful sisters, Juliana and Brooke, and her amazing parents, Alan and Linda, she managed to graduated 3rd in her high school class and was the highest ranking girl. After graduation, she opted to pursue a career in broadcast journalism and went on to graduate with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelors in broadcast journalism. She worked in Austin as a morning show host on Good Morning Texas for a while, but ultimately decided to chase her dreams of pursuing an acting career in the City of Angels.
