Fiona Domenica - A Star on the Rise

British/Sicilian actress Fiona Domenica is a star on the rise in LA not only from her memorable acting performances but from her writing and producing skills.  After only a short time in LA Fiona attained the lead as an American in the film High on the Hog opposite Sid Haig (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devils Rejects) and she will be appearing in Starship Rising on the SyFy channel.

Miss Domenica has just finished filming 'Stingrays' which she not only starred in but she wrote and produced.  Stingrays is a gritty love story  inspired by true stories and portrays the struggles in which child abuse victims face leading normal productive adult lives.

“I made this on a very small budget in Wilmington NC in association with Galvanized Films.  But I couldn't have made this film without all the many talented people of Wilmington who offered to be part of this project."   Stingrays also features actors from The Vampire Diaries and One tree Hill.

"I was so grateful to have Heath Franklin involved who directed and co-produced Stingrays with me.  He taught me a lot about filmmaking and the challenges that arise".  Heath from Galvanized films has played an integral role in the production and distribution of numerous feature films while producing hundreds of broadcast commercials, music videos, corporate and long form videos.

Starring next to Fiona in Stingrays is the undeniably talented Jesse C Boyd who is originally from NC now living in LA. This rising star will be appearing on the Walking Dead season finale and is a supporting lead in the new Nicholas Sparks movie The Choice. " I'd also would like to thank Tracii Guns (Guns n Rose, LA Guns) who kindly offered his music to score the film and Brandon Carter for his wonderful cinematography.” Fiona's goal is to raise money for abused children through screenings in the US and UK.

As well has developing future projects of her own, she is set to star in two more features later this year and her own project 'Sleep' which is a psychological horror she has written.   "We call ourselves the Hollywood Hustlers.  You come here with a dream, you give everything you got to achieve it, be truthful, believe in yourself and the rest will follow"

Follow Fiona on her journey and support this film.
