Bernadette Green - Dancing Through Life

Bernadette Green is a hard working 21 year old. She was born and raised in Southern California and currently resides in the OC. She has been a dancer since the age of 3 and has been continuing to pursue her dance career. She is trained in contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, salsa and ballet.

Bernadette will be graduating from California State University, Fullerton in May 2014 with a bachelor in Communications Entertainment studies. Her ideal career would be working in sports entertainment or entertainment news itself.

Along with getting her college education, Bernadette works part-time as a brand ambassador and continues to audition in the industry. She is currently signed with The S Agency in Los Angeles and has been given the opportunities to pursue her dancing career.

Bernadette recently filmed a music video with Cher Lloyd, a Sensa commercial, and a few other commercials that will be coming out soon! In the years of her dance career, she was on her college dance team for two consecutive years and that same year she made a professional team. She was a dancer for the major league soccer team, Chivas USA.

Ever since Bernadette was a little girl, she has always wanted to be in the spotlight. Her mother inspired her to pursue her dreams and continues to encourage and push her to be the absolute best that she can be. Her mother is her best friend and has always influenced her to never give up on her dreams.

Bernadette hopes to continue her dancing career as far as she can and incorporate her soon to be bachelor’s degree in her near future. She has always wanted to be in front of the camera, it was in her dreams ever since she can remember. She says, “Being in front of the camera is where I feel the most comfortable. I love taking pictures and being a model in clothes, shoes, and workout wear or new hair products. I feel comfortable posing to the camera and letting my personality show through pictures.” Modeling is something that she has never really pursued but it has always been in the back of her mind.

Her agents currently represent her for dance and commercial print. She remarks, “I absolutely love being in the industry and the possible opportunities that it comes with.”

One thing Bernadette hopes to achieve in her career is becoming an on air host for an entertainment news segment, radio show or reality competition show. She hopes to soon turn her dreams into realities because she feels that she would be successful and comfortable in that position. She is a hard worker, sociable, fun loving and outgoing person and that type of job would be the perfect fit for her.

Another dream that Bernadette hopes to turn into a reality is going on tour as a backup dancer for a well-known artist. But she first wants to graduate from college and then hopefully get the opportunity to go on tour. She states, “I am a very passionate and career driven person. I am constantly thinking about my future and what I can do to help benefit myself in the long run. It is important for me to take my life one day at a time but also remember where I came from. I wouldn’t be who I am today without God, my mother and my family in my life.”

Bernadette’s religion and family is something that she takes seriously and she hopes to one day be successful, make her mother proud and get the opportunity to take care of her mother for the rest of her life. Her mother has given up so much for her and Bernadette hopes to one day make her proud of everything that she will accomplish in her life.
