TalkAboutBarbie - A Biography of Annaleis Daggett

I was born March1, 1990 in Hartford, CT in St Mary’s Hospital. Raised in Stafford Springs, CT where my family has been located for the past 65yrs. At the age of 12 I moved to Bristol, TN where I did my school years. Now at the age of 24 I call Los Angeles, CA home. From birth I was always the free spirit of the family with a passion for the arts and expressing my inner thoughts onto canvas and any object I could mold into something beautiful.

At the age of 18 I started to pursue my career in the arts. I would do live painting for music festivals with Telepathic Productions based out of Asheville, NC. I would also be apart of all the festivals around the area in TN I was located. These festivals include The Blue Plum festival and Rhythm and Roots. Along with festival painting I would also share my work live while bands played at venues in the Johnson City, TN area. My work is on display at Blowfish Emporium in Bristol, TN. Star Trails Downtown in Kingsport, TN, and a small gallery located in my hometown Stafford Springs, CT. I also have a painting I donated last year to the country music museum in Bristol, TN, the true home of country music.

Along my journey in the arts I have graced the homes all across the USA. My work doesn’t stop at just canvas. I am also a street artist. The difference in canvas art and street art is canvas art is showcased in homes and businesses. The work on the streets is viewed my thousands of onlookers a day driving by. My canvas work is all very bright and abstract. I feel as my work describes my personality. I want to bring life to a wall have someone look at my work and put on a smile. Also, all of my street art is princess art for example crowns, diamond rings and glass slippers. My canvas work is signed with my first name Annaleis and my street art is signed with the other name I go by TalkAboutBarbie.

At the age of 23 I decided the time had come to chase the dream and after planting my stamp on the east coast the west coast was calling my name. Since living in LA I have also become a model and Miss Poland in The Queen Of The Universe Pageant to be held at The Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, CA March 16, 2014. Along with being a contestant in the pageant I will have a mosaic I donated that is 3ft by 4ft titled “Love The Ladies.”

My goal in life is to spread smiles everywhere I go. If that’s with someone looking at my art work, seeing a photograph of me in the world of modeling or meeting me in person then I have achieved my goal.
