I’ve known Leigh McCloskey for over 10 years now and he’s a dear friend, was even a groomsman in my wedding. What makes Leigh a true artist is that everything he does he does with passion and his work speaks volumes. As impressive as he is as an actor, he's even more impressive as an author and artist.
Each week many people come to view his studio of art, which is as unique as the man himself. He has painted the furniture and the floor is such vivid colors that it happens to be in 3D. The art itself has a profound spiritual effect on many people and he gives lectures on it.
He also features other authors, filmmakers and spiritual leaders for weekly discussions on a variety of topics. I had the privilege of viewing the documentary, “Love Marilyn” based on some recent writings found from Marilyn’s diaries.
Leigh has also published books, clothing and merchandise on his amazing art.Leigh spent 17 years creating an entirely original series of 22 drawings and text based upon his direct creative and archetypal journey into the heart of the major arcana of the Tarot. His critically acclaimed first book, Tarot ReVISIONed represents what might easily be considered one of the most profound, imaginative and creative inquiries into the mystery of the Tarot and its depths ever revealed.
In many ways Leigh J. McCloskey is a modern Renaissance Man. His interest, knowledge, study and learning ranges from art, music, history, religion, mythology, philo-Sophia and esotericism to string theory, quantum physics and the multidimensional nature of consciousness. He has deeply studied Hermeticism, Alchemy and Kabbalah and has hosted twice weekly philosophical salons at his home, Olandar, for over thirty years.
