Saturday March 15, the L.A. Fashion Corner "Fashion Week Wrap Event" was held as a closure of Fashion Week. The event took place at the nightclub Boulevard3 on Sunset Boulevard. Just after the sun had set over Sunset Boulevard the guests started to arrive at the venue. It didn’t take long before Boulevard3 was filled with guests mingling, watching the designs exhibited on the models and got their photos taken on the red carpet.
When the clock turned 9 the fashion show started with a BANG when two dancers from Luna Dance Center opened up the show. When the dance ended, the first fashion show started.
The designers for the night was Courtney Allegra “CA11EXIT”, Raquel Redmond “Enna Le' Uqar”, Paula Marie Atkins “Paula Marie Fashions” and Shekhar Rahate.
Courtney Allegra, the 16-year-old designer from San Diego, was first out to present her line “CA11EXIT”. The CA11EXIT line really gave a sense of Californian summer, it was a very colorful, fun but still edgy collection with a lot of print.
Raquel Redmond from Iowa was the second designer of the evening with her collection “Enna Le’ Uqar”. The collection was fun, edgy and sexy with a lot of different styles and looks.
Raquel quotes "I made my line, Enna Le' Uqar, to give the world a piece of my art, also to give myself a chance to explore and share my dream with the world. I date back to the early years, the 20's, 50's, 80's, add a little twist, and then put my mind to work to create each piece just right! All pieces are one-of-a-kind to make every individual feel unique and know that they're wearing something no one else will have on. If your in Enna Le’ Uqar, you are ‘Styled to Stand Out’. "
Paula Marie Atkins from Phoenix, Arizona was the third designer of the evening with her brand “Paula Marie Fashions”. It was a very colorful, sweet, feminine and sexy collection.
The Indian-American fashion Designer Shekhar Rahate was the last designer of the evening with his haute couture dresses. The show opened up with a beautiful red and golden dress and continued with many beautiful creations. It was a sparkling, colorful and creative show, finishing with a spectacular wedding dress.
Shekhar blends together exotic fabrics and intricate details to orchestrate his collection of haute couture gowns. His collection encompasses the beauty and elegance of high-fashion frock by combining a variety of styles and fabrics from form-fitting to free-flowing to multi-patterned.
After the last show the clock turned 10 and the Fashion Week Wrap Event reached its end and the after party begun. The entire evening was consistent of fabulous designs, a lot of fun and in a beautiful setting. It really was a great way of finishing Fashion Week 2014.
