GUESS Jeans - Celebrating 30 Years of Fashion

GUESS is turning 30 and to help celebrate they are launching the “” microsite that will allow you a behind-the-scenes look at GUESS. GUESS also has partnered with the fashion DIY website, “PS I Made This” which allows you to submit your repurposed jeans.

The GUESS denim microsite --“” launched on August 16, offering user’s special behind-the-scenes videos including how GUESS jeans are constructed to make the wearer feel sexy; profiles of key denim trendsetters within the company on how denim is a part of their world and new tools to help customers find their perfect fit. In addition, the microsite will feature information on new GUESS fits launching such as a petite fit and a curvy fit. GUESS fans and customers from around the world can participate by uploading or hashtagging a photo using #GUESSJEANS.  Photos will populate on the Denim is Our World microsite and GUESS Facebook, giving the public a glimpse into the fashionable world of GUESS denim.

The GUESS denim microsite will include a gallery for customers to upload their own GUESS denim photos; denim focused direct mail and social media messaging; private shopping events and co-branded programs with key media partners.

Private shopping events will be held at select GUESS stores in the US and Canada, co-branded with People StyleWatch magazine and featuring a denim tote and OPI denim duo appropriately named, “GUESS Who’s Got the Blues” as the gift-with-purchase. These events will tie-in with the People StyleWatch Denim Awards party in Los Angeles, offering consumers the opportunity to enter to win a trip to fly to LA to attend the awards.

The GUESS  partnership with the fashion DIY website, “PS I Made This” has a dedicated project entitled, “PS GUESS What I Made.” Users will repurpose jeans into a new, wearable item. Favorite projects submitted by users onto Pinterest tagged with the #PSGuessWhat I Made will be selected by Erica Domesek, founder of PS I Made This and a judge on TLC’s Craft Wars, and then posted in a special album on Facebook. The program will be promoted across PS I Made This and GUESS social media channels.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to celebrate GUESS and take in memories of some of the fashion that has been part of your life over the past thirty years. It doesn’t matter if you have been wearing guess for thirty years or you just discovered GUESS, this is a great time to get a glimpse into the world of this denim icon.
