There is a saying that things happen in 3's and Rachel Pally's new collection is no exception to the rule. Three words describe her Spring 2005 collection; feminine, fun, and colorful! This trendy fashion designer who's celebrity clientele includes; Beyonce Knowles, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson, Brittney Spears, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Carmen Electra, the Dixie Chicks and Supermodel Cindy Crawford (and that's just for starters) is a fashionista in her own right and this new collection is a feast for the eyes.
The feminine essence of Ms Pally's line lies in the fact that she has graced her collection with a wide array of beautiful dresses; the dresses I found breath taking and beautiful were the Yellow Deep-V Halter Dress, the Persimmon Ruffle Dress, the Yellow Goddess Dress, the very sexy Asymmetrical Minidress in yellow with a Papaya Pencil Skirt, The Sand Paris Dress trimmed in persimmon, and the very womanly with a girly-girl touch, the Teal Bird Bikini Baby doll Dress. My personal favorite is the Papaya Disco Dress, (party over here!). Drawing from her love for dance, these dresses have a light and flowing appeal so should you dance the night away, they are perfect for a hot salsa number or that special slow dance. Other hot dresses in her line include some very sexy halter, sheath, wrap and tube dresses with sexy style lines that go from off the shoulder to deep v-neck. Her dresses are also comfortable and not only celebrate a woman's curves, but their versatility makes it possible to transition between kicking back on a lazy summer day or a night out on the town.
The fun side of this collection is in the separates; these separates will definitely compliment your vacation or summer wardrobe. Some of the very memorable pieces are the Teal Cropped Pant with a Black T-Back Top, the Black Halter Bandeau Bikini Top with Black Cropped Leggings, the Magenta Ruffle Tube top with a very sexy pair of avocado shorts, the Mint and Ivory Egret Bikini with Boy Shorts, and the Ivory X-Back Dress layered over a pair of Sand Pirate Pants. Her collection is also host to some very cute pencil skirts and full skirts which will compliment any of the tops in her collection. These separates are far from laid back casual, they are sexy, stylish and can be dressed up or down.
Let's not forget the color! The bold rich colors of teal, magenta, persimmon, mint, avocado, papaya, and deep rich yellows will leave you longing for the return of those warm summer days when you can wear this delightful collection all summer long! Spring, if you cannot wait, and for those of us fortunate enough to call California home, you may even get to squeeze this colorful collection into your fall wardrobe line-up.
Take a bow Ms. Pally, you have done it again!
