LOVE/hate

Everyone has seen New Balance’s new “ LOVE/hate” ads.  The print work, the clever television commercials. Some athletes hate to workout, but we all love the results.  And that in a nutshell is New Balance’s new message.  And guess what?  It works, because it’s true.

New Balance debuted their newest line of footwear at this year’s X Games 14 in Los Angeles. As the official footwear of X Games 14, New Balance shoes were highlighted throughout the coverage.

New Balance also hosted an NB X Games Run co-hosted by Rally racer Matthew Johnson and benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Research on parts of the Moto X and Rally Car race course prior to the official start of the games.

New Balance and its friends enjoyed the games from a very beautiful skybox lined generously with luxurious and convenient amenities, such as poster screen-printing, athletes signings and henna tattoos.

Make ‘Em Laugh

Dan Smith is a New Balance-sponsored comedian who just returned from overseas where he was performing for the troops.  “It’s great to be here today.  I love New Balance and I’m having a great time watching the games.

Moments later, he stepped over and got a massive henna tattoo.  Of what?  New Balance, of course.

Ink It

Henna artist Merritt was one of the biggest attractions at the New Balance suite.  The lovely artist takes a few minutes per person to decorate them with the temporary tattoo.  "It's fun to do and I love working with people", she says.
