The Malgosia store opening combined LA elite and style makers with an eclectic blend of hard to find brands from all over the world, as well as local up and coming domestic new finds.   The new boutique's hottest designs include those of Sabyasachi, an Indian Star designer from Kolkatta who recently exploded on the New York fashion world, and Rajesh Pratap Singh, a modern and edgy designer from New Delhi.  Others include Miriam Ocariz of Bilbao, Spain, Paul Seville, a London based artist of hand-molded leather corsets, belts, and broaches, Parisian sexy lingerie line Princesse Tam Tam, Berlin's Sai-So, a clothing line made entirely of vintage kimono fabric, Milanese jewelry phenomenon Daniela de Marchi, and the epitome of French femininity, Juliette Longuet.

Located on trendy West Third Street in Los Angeles, Malgosia offers an eclectic blend of hard to find brands from all over the world, as well as local up and coming domestic new finds.  A native of Poland, Storeowner and ex-clothing designer Maggie Wachsberger has an appreciation for all things global chic. "There are so many fantastic designers out there that I have seen in my travels.  I wanted to share these unique collections with other Angelenos and hopefully expand the fashion horizons here" says Maggie.  'I want my customers to be able to find something at Malgosia that not everyone else will be wearing.  I encourage individuality.'

A portion of the proceeds from the event and from the month of November go to the Violence Policy Center.

Malgosia is located at 8336 West 3rd Street.
