There was an exceptional turnout for “An Evening With Coco” presenting the first taste of the Coco Johnsen Prêt-à-Porter Collection. The occasion was held at a beautiful private mansion in Holmby Hills with an exclusive guest list. Those on the list were directed to a park in a pre-disclosed location where a shuttle picked them up and whisked them off to the festivities about to take place.

Once off the shuttles, guests were received at the front gate where invitations were collected and the guest list was checked twice. There was an Etoile Champagne greeting as we arrived, and Hors D’oeuvres were served while awaiting access to the mansion from the main courtyard. Hors D’oeuvres on the menu consisted of a variety of chicken, beef and seafood dishes, and were absolutely delicious. Cocktail waitresses were very friendly and catered to a diverse group of individuals from many different backgrounds, all of which were dressed to impress representing their own personal style.

Photographers made their way around the courtyard taking photos of those in attendance. After more of the guests arrived, we were led into the home through a magnificently decorated foyer to the rear courtyard. There, the runway could be seen stretched out across the length of the yard. A white sheet was in place as a backdrop where different pictures were displayed via projector adding to the ambiance of the evening.

To the right was a grassy area with guests making themselves comfortable. And to the left was the hosted Belvedere Vodka Bar serving up ice-cold cocktails. The bar tenders were quite busy throughout the evening as you could imagine as the guests waited for the runway show to begin. Lasting what seemed to be less than 15 minutes from the first girl to hit the runway to the last, the actual fashion show was short but sweet, and the designs revealed were incredible. Vibrantly colored dresses and sexy bathing suits were pranced down the cat walk displaying Coco’s indisputable talent for fashion. She truly is a talented designer with a resume to be in awe over.
