In Fall 2006 Z co. Jeans was launched in Macys stores nationwide and selected boutiques.  Ever since it's debut, Z co. Jeans has been recognized for its flawless fit and premium quality. The Z co. line is vintage apparel, all American, clean, and classic. The affordability and premium quality made for a strong niche in the fashion industry. The label is dedicated to producing quality denim that retails for under $60.  It is a trendy and laid-back line where you can find the hottest trends like the boyfriend trousers, straight leg jeans, or wide leg jeans. Z co. Jeans demographics are for ladies 18-34 and Z co. Jeans junior line is for 14-18 year olds.  The sizes are from the most petite zero to a fuller 14.

The jean jacket came in variations such as whiskering, intricate threading, and bold interior plaid.   The Fall is no longer limited to neutrals and lackluster autumn shades. An emphasis was made to include pops of pastel colors which were featured in their distressed jeans. Z co.’s Spring line also highlighted bejeweled bermuda shorts and over dyed acid wash jeans in crystal magenta and light violets.

Jebera wanted to emulate this same success with a new clothing line that will launch Fall 2009.  Tokyo Five will be a higher end line, but still considerably more affordable than the competition.  It is an effortless and versatile clothing line for men and women. “ Tokyo Five is a premium denim sportswear collection mix of Asian graphics, European detailing, and vintage American nostalgia,” said Jebera. It brings forth the classic style of American culture, the edginess of Asian customs, and the chic European attention to detail.

Tokyo Five lives by five principles: Bravery, Respect, Honor, Loyalty, and Wisdom. This is what Jebera refers to the code of a warrior and principles that they live by.  The symbols on the shirts represent one of these principles. It is an American line with daring Japanese symbols and graphics from the Japanese language Kanji. Jebera said he was inspired by “American collegiate and biker nostalgia, martial art Japanese street style. Tokyo Five is vintage American with a Japanese twist.”

Stores across the country saw a resurgence for the men’s skinny jeans style in the mid-2000s, but the form-fitting denim is fading out and Tokyo Five men’s relax fit is a  more fashion conscious choice.  “Our signature jean is the men’s relaxed fit with distressed detailing,” said Jebera. Their jeans are more distressed with rips, whiskering, and fading. Tokyo Five’s designers shop vintage and study trends in the denim arena.
