From Sonia's Black Label line
From NBC’s hit game show DEAL OR NO DEAL to the pages of MAXIM, fashion designer Sonia Vera unveils three sexy, sophisticated and innovative lines at this year’s Downtown LA Fashion Week. For her three lines Club Canela, Black Label and New Beach Couture, Sonia was inspired through her travels around the world to create sophisticated and sexy swimwear for the everyday woman. Each design from each designated line delivers a unique style that can not only be worn to the beach, but also dressed down as leisure wear on a warm and sunny day or dressed up when you’re going for a night on the town.

Club Canela is textured and jewel toned. These bathing suits are mostly for show and they create a statement with their elegance and understated look. With the addition of a wrapped sarong and some eye-popping jewelry, the bathing suit immediately transforms into an outfit that can be worn on a night on the town. The possibilities of mixing and matching with this particular line are endless.

From Sonia's Black Label line
Black Label consists of mostly two piece textured bikinis. This line can be easily worn to the beach for sunbathing, swimming or any activity for the avid beach aficionado. Sonia also adds little touches to make the bikini elegant much like her Club Canela line. They are comfortable in their design and covers in the right places without taking away its sex appeal. If one wants to be noticed or show off their rock hard beach body, then this bikini is the way to go.

From Sonia's New Beach Couture Line
New Beach Couture is understated leisure wear that is dressed down for the average woman on the go. Whether it is running errands, spending a lazy day lounging around the house or having lunch with a friend on a sunny day in an exotic beach locale, this line speaks to the woman who yearns for comfort, but wants to look beautiful at the same time. This line works on many levels and with the addition of simple accessories such as a necklace here or a bracelet there or a purse across the shoulder.

More from the New Beach Couture line
Her line at Downtown LA Fashion Week wowed the crowd as her models graced the runway to upbeat sounds of electronica and hip-hop. With the addition of wide-eyed retro shades, the line is almost a throwback to another era, but it works as timeless is making a comeback. Overall, the energy of the show was at a high level and, much like Sonia’s line, she made a splash on the runway and let’s hope at the beach it will do the same.
