Samora was in full bloom to launch her
Spring 2009 Collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Los Angeles, CA, on Thursday, October 17th, 2008.
Samora's Spring 2009 collection was strongly influenced by lovely
Paris, set with a bicyle on the runway and The Eiffel Tower in the background. Many designs were accessorized with big black and white Audrey Hepburn styled sunglasses.
The overall looks show
sophistication and
elegance, with pronounced lady like frills and fun.
The collection started out with lots of
frills and
color. Including dresses cut above the knee with lots of layers and
floral patterns in pinks and light greens. Floral pieces were accompanied with bright and airy belted jackets.
All of the the pieces were enjoyable and great for many occassions, however one piece in particular seemed our of place with a
bright pink corset over a floral patterned dress.
The line included many
black and white pieces, such as
high-waisted skirts with frilly, yet carefully cut designed airy
delicate blouses, and ruffly solid colored dresses.
Others were more
sexy and
luxurious with very short fitting high-waisted shorts, showing lots of leg in
high heels.
A white
carefully cut designed suit, with black stitching and buttons made the crowd oooh and ahhhh!
The models walked the catwalk in confidence with an air of anticipation like that of walking onto a runway to board a plane to the next exquisite and luxurious travel destination.
Her
Spring 2009 Collection proves to be a real success.
Somora's desings continue to flourish to people around the world and to the
Hollywood Elite, and her collections are at the forefront of
Italian Couture. She first graced the list of
Mercedees Benz Fashion Week Designers in the Fall of 2002.
