Roxy gave a little taste of what the Roxy "Follow Your Heart Tour" is going to be all about as singer Charlotte Sometimes kicked things off with a memorable set Thursday night at the club “ 86” in Los Angeles.

Sometimes set was the highlight of the evening. With a crowd that had limited knowledge of her music for the most part, she had everyone dancing and made fans of everyone in attendance by the end of the night. With her stage presence, energy, and a voice that flourished in a rock setting, but had the feel of a sultry, almost bluesy sound that really is different than anything in recent memory. Sometimes is going to debut her new album, “ Waves & the Both of Us”, May 6, 2008 by Geffen Records and is also going to be a part of the Warped Tour coming up later this year.

The Roxy “Follow Your Heart Tour” presented by Schick Quattro for Women, will run from April through July of this year, visiting college campuses and retail store locations. To coincide with the tour, Roxy is doing something a little extra to help you pursue your dream. Roxy has put together a contest that will award a $10,000 prize to help the winner pursue their dream. All you have to do is submit a 2-3 minute video by August 1, 2008, telling Roxy who you are and how you are following your heart.

To judge this contest, Roxy put together a panel of inspirational women that includes; Charlotte Sometimes, Sofia Mulanovich, Lisa Andersen, Amber Stackhouse, Katie Wright Pere, Erica Leite, Dana Dartez, Corinne Mayer, Natalie Linden, Maritxu Darrigrant and Carol Christopherson. At the conclusion of the tour, Roxy will choose the winner who will be the embodiment of all that is Roxy – daring and confident, naturally beautiful and fun and alive.
