There?s a new ?LOOK? in town and Hilary Duff is all over it! When jewelry designer Annette Wright, owner of Divine Invention announced the debut of the ?Support Our Troops ?LOOK? bracelet which benefits Veterans Foundation Incorporated (VFI), Hilary jumped at the chance to become the official spokesperson for the trend, with a donation being made to VFI every time a bracelet is sold. Duff spoke out, saying that ?These young man and women are today?s heroes and I will always pray for their safety and speedy return to their family and friends.?
Hand crafted and made from the finest Italian Moretti glass, this cheerfully yellow unisex bracelet, mixed with silver or gold beads, features Divine Inventions individual five-eye pattern and is available for $90. The black eyes upon the beads were explained by Annette Wright, designer of these wonderful pieces and whose husband was a Vietnam veteran; ?According to Ancient belief shared by cultures world wide, the protective power of the ?eye? will?keep him/her safe? she said. Wright has also created a bracelet to help another cause, a stunning girly pink that will raise money for breast cancer research at Revlon/UCLA and USC Norris Lee breast centers.
A favorite among Hollywood stars, this bracelet has become its own fashion statement. Although the VFI bracelet is yellow, the same style has been adopted in an array of colors by many a celebrity including Joan Jett, Courtney Cox Arquette, Christina Aguilera and Ozzy Osbourne. Maddonna even went as far as to request a set in gold for her and Lourdes.
Veterans Foundation Incorporated is a 25 year old none profit and none political organization that organizes awareness, volunteers and supports service members, military spouses and their families. VFI also hosts the annual American Veteran Awards (AVA), now in its 10th year.
