Entering the
Nespresso Tasting Event at
Sur La Table culinary store in Santa Monica, the smell of coffee beans took over the senses. As many guests held coffee in hand at the
Nespresso Tasting Event, I knew exactly where I was headed as I approached the coffee maker with one thought in my mind of a warm slightly sweet coffee with a kick.

The
Capriccio coffee satisfied the urge with a smooth creamy flavor, which I am told perfectly pairs with dry aniseed-flavoured liqueur. As I glanced over at the new machine that fashioned this delectable coffee, the intricate engineering struck my eye.
CitiZ the new coffee maker of the future
Nespresso lead everyone in conversation. Some discussed how such a small machine produced such a bountiful flavour. While others impressed by its physique conversed about Antoine Cahen, the designer of this masterpiece, who built every detail all around 20th century skyscrapers and limousine’s lines.

CitiZ's Skateboarders in Action

After sipping I noticed skateboarders in the back of Sur La Table livening the event as the skateboarders from the X-Games worked the
CitiZ ramp. This performance was highlighted in my mind as I never watched skateboarders in action besides on TV.
Walking around the event, I found complimentary tee-shirts, tropical bar and
CitiZ promotional models.

The gentleman was gracious enough to spray on the design of my very own

Collection tee. For more of a retro style, I cut off the collar.

Their bar came directly from
Split, Croatia with its palms and neon lighting to boot. The promotional model drew my eye to a key part of the
CitiZ event.

The ladies informed the crowd on how the
Nespresso Tasting Event incorporated a silent auction for the
LA FoodBank, which provides 700,000 meals a week to people in need. After moseying around the area and talking to some friends, I headed out.

Nespresso Tasting Event Introduced the CitiZ Coffee Maker
|
Later, when I read further about the
CitiZ, I realized all the features of this magnificent little machine. This machine not only looked like the taste of perfection, but also
CitiZ’s gadgets proved manufactured ingenuity for high quality coffee.
Nespresso hit the mark again for miniature extraction combined with a compact internal architecture. For ergonomic purposes,
Nespresso incorporated programmable cup sizes and pivoting cup support. Customer satisfaction showed when I found out the
CitiZ
Collection comes in two styles, three platforms and four glossy colours. The colours extracted from a cityscape included fire-engine red, steel gray, 60’s white and limousine black. These systems comprised of a modular and two single system designs. The modular design allowed units to be utilized simultaneously or independently. This espresso and lungo maker incorporated various conveniences such as automatic and programmable volume control, power save mode and high-pressure pump.
