A Taste Of Napoli Sweepstakes - Celebrates 500 Years of Pasta Making

San Domenico Restaurant on Central Park South in New York City was the scene of today's lunch launch to celebrate 500 years of pasta making and to promote  tourism in Naples, Italy, the island of Ischia ( known for its natural thermal spas), Capri ( known for its Blue Grotto and jet set lifestyle ),  the picturesque Sorrento coast, and the archaeological wonders of Pompeii. 

Amy Freeman, U.S. Representative, Manuela Barzan, Director of COM.TUR, special agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples, Italy., Vince Curatola, Tony May, Chef Odette Fada, Marisa May.


World renown restaurateur Tony May, co-owner of San Domenico spoke about the history of pasta and pasta cooking techniques; Chef Odette Fada prepared two pasta dishes for guests to taste, and Vince Curatola a.k.a. Johnny "Sack" Sacramoni from the award winning HBO series The Sopranos was there to support the event.  Other prominent guests included: Manuela Barzan, Director of COM.TUR, a special agency of  the Naples Chamber of Commerce.
