In 1995
Salif starts the rap with his friend "EXS" to became
Nysay. Barely 13 years old, is already one of the most gifted of his generation in the flow and frank talk. It is immediately noticed by Zoxea and Beat 2 Boul 'from the same area, the Pont de Sèvres in Boulogne-Billancourt (92).
Supported by the Lunatic, they integrate the crew "C 2 la balle" in 1997 alongside L'Skadrille, Bam's and Ziko of the Brigade. Then follows an extensive operation "punch" on mixtapes (Operation punch, dontcha Flex 3, Néochrome, dj Poska, Cut Killer ...), compilations (The Invincible Armada, Beat 2 Boul '2. ..) and Bam's albums, L'Skadrille...).
In 1999 while Nysay make the back in the Zoxea's tour he met Kool Shen (NTM). He proposes to integrate its label IV My People (Lord Kossity, Busta Flex, Zoxea ...). When his arrival in the label Salif made directly the hit
"Eenie meena Minny mo" alongside Lord Kossity and sign an alliance with the crew. The album
''Certifié Conforme" which released the following year (2000) only confirms his talent and creates a certain expectation of the public with more than
100,000 copies sold.
First solo album certified by the street classic
"Tous ensemble, chacun pour soi" will remain as a real bolt from the middle of french rap. Age of just 19,
Salif appears sometimes hardcore, sometimes mélancolique.Avec more than
50,000 copies sold, he will make a tour across France but also abroad (Canada).
After many appartitions on IV My People Zone, Streetly Street, Paname all stars (Sniper) Nysay released in 2004
"Starting Block".
In 2005 they return with
"The asphaltape", a street album on their label "starting block records" which will sells to more than
13,000 copies, and even one of the best autoproduction sales in the year.
In 2006 with Néochrome their double album
"Au pied du mur" en 2006.
This year was a reference for
Salif...The title
"Callera a la muerte" announces his return, a return tonitruant!
His talent was finally recognized at fair value. Proof of featurings with Lino (Arsenik), Akhenaton (IAM), Sinik, Kool Shen and Orishas (single "
Paris Cuba"), participations in compilations: Dj Goldfingers "Les yeux dans la banlieue 1, Hostile 2006, IV My People Mission, Indipendenza, Néochrome...
In 2007
Salif wants to prepare his audience with a
''album avant l'album. The mixtape
''Boulogne boy'' still have several months in the top albums, music all combined. Waiting the golden goal in February he released a new project,
Prolongations, announcing the imminent arrival of his new solo album that everyone looks forward
