Whether you are planning a summer BBQ, a balmy evening soirée or just having some friends over to relax by the pool, it’s time to mix up some new and unique tea beverages that will have all your guests asking for seconds. Mighty Leaf Tea makes tea new again this summer with a handful of refreshing recipes that make for an easy, summer escape.
The new summer get-together is filled with everything from wine to lemonade, all of which complement Mighty Leaf’s whole leaf tea pouches filled with fruits, herbs and spices. Mighty Leaf’s Chamomile Citrus gives sangria a fruitful zing, while the Organic Spring Jasmine is a light and healthful addition to your typical summer granita. Mighty Leaf’s Organic African Nectar turns a typical Arnold Palmer on its head when frozen into ice cubes and added to your favorite glass of lemonade. Each recipe takes traditional iced tea to an entirely new level of deliciousness.
“The health benefits of tea are so great, that people are now looking for newer and better ways to integrate it into their every day lives beyond the traditional cup of tea,” says Chef Vinita Jacinto, an instructor at the California Culinary Academy. “Summer is a great time to experiment with the typical iced tea to create some new, fun and easy drinks to help you entertain your guests.”
For a more sophisticated presentation at your next summer gathering, try mixing up Mighty Leaf’s Chamomile Citrus Sangria and African Nectar Arnold Palmer using Mighty Leaf’s signature Tea on Tap. The chic 16 oz iced tea carafe is uniquely designed with a shot glass stopper to hold syrup, fruit concentrate or garnishes, allowing your guests to add garnish and sweeten their tea to taste.
