5-Hour ENERGY® Raspberry Giveaway – Each Bottle Helps in the Fight against Breast Cancer

Living Essentials (the distributor of 5-hour ENERGY® shots) recently introduced the new, limited edition, specially marked raspberry flavor of 5-hour ENERGY® as a way to raise money for Living Beyond Breast Cancer. From now through December 31, 2013, Living Essentials will donate five cents from the sale of every bottle of raspberry flavored 5-hour ENERGY® to LBBC.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer is a national nonprofit education and support organization serving women and families affected by breast cancer. Living Essentials will be donating a minimum guaranteed donation of $75,000. To help spread the word about this great new flavor and the cause that goes with it, Splash Magazines Worldwide is giving two lucky readers a 12-pack of Raspberry 5-hour ENERGY®.

“Our company has a strong history of supporting causes that fight breast cancer,” said Melissa Skabich, Communications Director for 5-hour ENERGY®.  “This year we chose LBBC because we’re so impressed with the great work they’re doing to empower women affected by breast cancer, and we are working hard to help support the organization both financially and by raising awareness of the cause.”

In addition to the donation, Living Essentials is launching a significant awareness campaign that includes national advertising, public relations and special events.  The LBBC logo will be placed on the hood of NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer’s No. 15 Toyota Camry for Michael Waltrip Racing at three upcoming races on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule.  The logo will debut at the Sept. 29 NASCAR race in Dover, Del. 

The day before the big race, Living Essentials will sponsor Dover International Speedway’s Sept. 28 NASCAR Nationwide Series race, which will be billed as the “5-hour ENERGY® 200 benefitting Living Beyond Breast Cancer.”  Prior to the race, there will be a “Yoga on the Track” event to help raise additional awareness for LBBC.  All ticketholders are invited and welcome to join in the event.

“The financial contribution and the comprehensive media campaign by the makers of 5-hour ENERGY® products will help us to reach many people who are currently unaware of the programs and services that LBBC offers to those facing a breast cancer diagnosis,” said Kevin Gianotto, LBBC’s Associate Director, Marketing and Corporate Relations.
