The Golden Globes 2016 Color Trend Report- Red Carpet WOW!

Last night, Hollywood’s elite took to the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton for the 2016 Golden Globes and the fabulous GG after parties.  The Golden Globes mark the kick off of Awards Season, setting the stage for the upcoming fashion trends which will undoubtedly spread throughout the consumer fashion retail market.  I could bet Jennifer Lawrence’s insane 156 carat Chopard diamond bib necklace that brands like A.B.S by Allen Schwartz and Faviana are spending the next few days sketching and sampling gowns “inspired” by what A-list actors wore to last night’s ceremony.  These dresses will undoubtedly pop up for sale online and in boutiques for a mere fraction of the cost of the designer original.  Like Fashion Week, the consumer audience looks to celebrities and red carpet fashion to learn what colors and shapes they need to buy in order to stay on perfect trend.

Therefore, I put together my list of the top 5 color trends from the 2016 Golden Globes, so that you know just what to look for the next time you need to go shopping for that chic party dress!

As a fashion publicist and journalist, I tend to have a talent for trend forecasting, and this photo is of me, to the left, and a women in line with me wearing two of the evening's biggest trends- Gold and Sequins!  Good minds think alike!
