Fashionable women in Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire can help teen girls from Olive Crest attend the prom in style this spring at Robbins Brothers, The Engagement Ring Store’s Sparkle & Share, the company’s in-store dress drive benefiting the charity starting Monday, March 4 through Sunday, March 31, 2013. Patrons can drop off dresses at one of the seven Robbins Brothers locations in Los Angeles during normal business hours, and will receive a $50 gift certificate towards any sparkly purchase of $395 or more.
Robbins Brothers in Torrance and Riverside will host special parties in celebration of Sparkle & Share on Saturday, March 16 (11am-7pm) and Sunday, March 17 (11am-6pm). Guests will drop off dresses, enjoy desserts, share their own fun prom photos in-store and on social networks, and interact directly with Olive Crest representatives to learn more about the organization.
“This is such a great cause near and dear to my heart,” said Diane Ferraro, director of brand experience and marketing for Robbins Brothers. “I’m grateful that we’re able to give women near our store locations the chance to give back to the community, and also learn more about Olive Crest, a compassionate organization that strives to provide at-risk teens with a positive and rewarding life experience. We’re honored to be a conduit that will help fulfill the dreams of these young ladies who will be able to attend their local proms in style, thanks to the generosity of customers and their friends donating bridesmaid dresses.”
“We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with Robbins Brothers in this effort,” said William Bedrossian, executive director of Olive Crest’s Los Angeles region. “Prom is just one of many important experiences Olive Crest is committed to providing our youth, and the generosity of Robbins Brothers and its customers will ensure our teen girls have a beautiful and memorable night.”
