Marc Bouwer - fashion designer

This is for all the ladies with the booming fashion sense. If your laptop is not fully charged then find an electric outlet and plug into style. Today I am talking with world renowned women designer that is always in the air but never flies coach. His clothes have women looking smoking hot as if they were blazing in a fire. Here is the man with all the passion Marc Bouwer.

Throughout his career, Marc has worked with a dream list of clientele. Notables include Angelina Jolie, my favorite Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce Knowles, Paris Hilton, and much more. Too bad I am not a woman or a cross dresser; I sure do like to look at his clothes especially when on the catwalk. Meow!

The trends we follow and the clothes we wear are often associated with superficiality and materialism in my opinion that is. Fleeting styles come fast into vogue then disappear as quickly as they came. Fashion has always been intrinsically connected to deeper elements of the fashion experience, from the economy and labor system to culture, religion, and class. From our pajamas, to our jeans, to our shoes, what we wear has always spoken volumes about who we are, what we do, and what we want. Whether we dress to make a political statement, to assert class status, or simply to be irreverent, every style has carried a certain social meaning. This is in part because our culture has long ascribed great significance to individuals' public image, and because image has long been intertwined with the American capitalist economy. As Mark Twain once wrote, "Clothes make the man.” Now without further ado, the man that makes clothes for women to be who they are, the all so talented, very  passionate, handsome Marc Bouwer.

Marc Bouwer & David Rabadi

David
Hello designer that has women looking sophisticated, sexy, and classy. How are you?

Marc
Lil. I am fine. It's a dray day but days would be boring if the weather didn't change. How are you?

David
I am very excited to be speaking with you. What inspired you to design clothing for women?

Marc
I am from South Africa and there was no TV or cinema around so I read a lot of books. But in the 70's, when TV became available in South Africa, I became inspired by watching shows like the Brady Bunch and going to cinemas and watching all the leading ladies.

David
What are your top three fashion no no's?

Marc
Mum, let me see pictures, painted on nails, not cute; shoes with a thick heel or shoes that are open toe are a little gross. Shoes can really break or make the outfit and unless you are on a beach there is no reason for open toe shoes.

David
Which celebrity do you think is a fashion mess and you would summons the fashion police after?

Marc
We all have had our bad moments in fashion. Celebrities have it tough because they are in the public eye and sometimes are blinded when making a decision forgetting everything they wear will be dissected.

David
If you weren't a designer what other career path would you have chosen?

Marc
I probably would have become a director. I have worked with Shania Twain and Toni Braxton on their music videos, and I have directed a short fashion production. The whole process of directing is very exciting to me.

David
Be careful with what you say Marc I am a writer. So if I wrote a screenplay you would direct it?

Marc
If I liked it yes, why not.

David
What are your last words to all the readers?

Marc
Find what inspires you and give it your all. David, thank you! I will be waiting to read the script.

David
Marc you are truly  a man of principle with a rebellious spirit and a charismatic presence. I am so grateful for the opportunity  to meet with you. I wish your style will forever live in fashion.
