NFL Legends Playoff Party - NFL Playoff Party at Citadel Outlets

Former NFL greats, along with hundreds of sports enthusiasts, will descend upon Citadel Outlets on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 for the “Kermit Alexander & NFL Legends Playoff Party.” The day will include a ticketed VIP Party running from 11:30a.m. until the end of the last playoff game in the center’s VIP Lounge along with a free-to-the public ‘Fan Zone’ experience and autograph signing near Center Court from 1p.m. – 3p.m.

“Watching the Playoff Games sitting next to some of the greatest players in NFL history is a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” said Traci Markel, Citadel Outlets Marketing Director. “We’re thrilled to welcome back both fans and players for this incredible event that raises money to help Southern California children and families in need.”

New for 2017, the ‘Fan Zone’ will include games and activities for fans of all ages, meet & greet times with former NFL players including Championship Game starters, autograph signings and photo opportunities. Merchandise will be available for purchase. As an extra bonus, the AFC and NFC Playoff games will be broadcasted on a 15-ft LED screen from 12p.m. (noon) – end of the games. The ‘Fan Zone’ experience is complimentary; however, donations are suggested and will benefit The Raise Foundation.

For a more intimate experience with the Legends, Citadel Outlets’ VIP Lounge will be transformed into Tailgate Central - the perfect viewing party that will include barbequed sliders, beer and wine (for guests 21+), a live DJ for gridiron color commentary, prizes, and mingling with former NFL players including Kermit Alexander, Rosey Grier, Craig McEwen, and Efren Herrera. The VIP Party will broadcast the AFC game and NFC game, with doors open at 11:30 a.m. Early bird tickets are $45 per adult and $20 per child 14 and under prior to Jan. 18 and available online at www.pcafootball.com. Tickets purchased following Jan. 18, including day-of ticket sales, are $60/adult and $35/child and subject to availability. At time of registering online, fans can also purchase an NFL Team Jacket. Event sponsorship opportunities are also available.

All event proceeds benefit a local Southern California charity dedicated to helping build healthy families. The Raise Foundation (Orange County’s Child Abuse Prevention Council), a non-profit founded more than 40 years ago, helps strengthen and stabilize at-risk families. Comprehensive services include parenting training, basic needs supplies, and other support and aid to parents across Orange County, helping them raise healthy families and working to stop the cycle of child abuse.

“Through my own personal tragedy – where my family was murdered by gang members in 1984 – I have committed my life to doing all I can to ensure children grow up in a safe and healthy environment,” notes the charity event host Kermit Alexander, a 15 year veteran of the 49ers, Rams, and Eagles. “Your attendance, for me, is about the game – and also about effecting change in our communities.”

Past NFL Legend Party pro attendees include Super Bowl MVP Rod Martin, Jesse Sapolu, Marv Fleming, and Rams’ favorites Rosey Grier, Mike Horan, LeRoy Irvin, and Reggie Doss. This year’s attendee list includes (with more NFL legends and players expected to attend as well):
