Mike Glenn, Retired NBA Player's Sports Exhibit And Awards Banquet Review - A Huge Success

Twenty years ago on October 3, 1995, we witness a sports legend acquitted in a trial known as the “Trial of the Century of O.J. Simpson”.  Ironically, on this day 20 years later, we saw many sports legends and sports fans gather and transformed “October 3”into a memorable moment in sports.  The retired, National Basketball Association (NBA) Player Mike Glenn invited us to be part of his sports exhibit and sports award banquet in Atlanta, Georgia, which were so spectacular that people and the media are still talking about it.

Mike “Stinger” Glenn, a 10 year NBA player and Fox Sports Southeast TV Analyst for the Atlanta Hawks founded the Mike Glenn Foundation 33 years ago. He has always had a big heart for making a difference in others' life. Through the years, his vision and the love of people and historical sports events have been greatly appreciated.

The Mike Glenn Collections was honored in a special way at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the beautiful Stonecrest Library, Lithonia, Georgia. It remains on display until Saturday,  October 24, 2015.  If you are interested in seeing this unique display touring the country, please contact Mr. Glenn regarding interest of sponsorship.

Before the official ribbon cutting, Mr. Glenn spoke on the great history of Tom Molineaux. Then, Mr. Glenn was honored by Craig Eberhart of the United States Postal Service with a  postal stamp memorabilia of basketball legend, Wilt Chamberlain that will be added to Mr. Glenn’s collection.  Mr. Glenn was joined by other sports legends, DeKalb County officers and citizens for photos.

Watching so many people gaze with excitement and appreciation at the beautiful, unique collections was a thrill to see. Clearly, a lot of hard work went into this.

Just before dark fall, we all gathered at the elegant Lions of Judah Event Center, Stone Mountain, Georgia to highlight the night with the Tom Molineaux Awards Banquet.
