If nothing but the best is good enough for your love, then  Spago for Valentine's Day may be your answer. Chefs Wolfgang Puck and Lee Hefter and Sherry Yard have created a wonderfully romantic price fix three-course menu for our guests.  The cost of the evening is $100 per guest exclusive of tax, beverage and 20% service charge.  Featured will be sultry jazz by Maria De La Vega.

Spago Beverly Hills, the flagship restaurant of Wolfgang Puck which opened in 1997, continues to set the standard for cuisine, service and style for Los Angeles' finest restaurants and is an inspiration to chefs all over the world. Chef Lee Hefter creates imaginative seasonal menus that showcase the best of California's produce and products in a sophisticated, elegant and warm environment designed by Barbara Lazaroff. As in the first of Wolfgang Puck's restaurants, the kitchen viewed through a giant wall of colorful, etched glass is center stage for the art of dining. Original artwork and jeweled details surround the dining room settings and a beautifully landscaped garden patio is available year round. The restaurant offers two private dining rooms with a separate bar for receptions and functions. James Beard Award Winning Chef Lee Hefter's brilliant creations as well as the superlative service are consistently recognized as the ultimate in fine dining. This finely tuned regular menu includes Spago classics Handmade Agnolotti with Mascarpone, Chino Farms Roasted Beet Layer Cake, Prime Côte de Boeuf for Two, and Wolfgang's Original Veal Weinerschnitzel as well as daily changing selections of fish and produce of the season. As popular for lunch as it is dinner, Spago boasts a beautiful patio and dining room famous for table-hopping, people watching and the grandest of parties.

You'll begin with Maine Diver Scallops with Caramelized Cauliflower and Truffled Apple Puree with Spiced Cider Reduction.  Then, 'For Him' ,' Morel Mushroom and Foie Gras 'Cappuccino,'  Shaved Duck Prosciutto, and Sweet Potato Raviolis with Fava Beans and Baby Artichokes. Then, Pistachio encrusted Ahi Tuna with Blood Orange Braised Short Ribs and Beluga Lentils with Ice Wine Gastrique. For dessert, Bittersweet Silk Chocolate Tart with Champagne Sorbet, Candied Kumquats and a Turron  Tuile.  'For Her' ,' White Asparagus Soup with Vanilla Scented Foam and Candied Meyer Lemons.  Then, Seared John Dory with English Peas, Marble Potatoes and Dungeness Crab with a Lemon Verbena Sauce. For dessert, Tahitian Vanilla-Rose Mascarpone Panna Cotta with Blood Orange-Cardamom Consomme and Crystallized Basil.

Jar chef Suzanne Tracht will be offering a Valentine's brunch on Sunday, February 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a Valentine's Day dinner on February 14 from 5 p.m. The two-course brunch costs $35 per person and includes choice of entrees like lobster benedict with char sui pork and corn pancakes with applewood smoked bacon, plus dessert, fresh juice and pastries. The three-course dinner costs $70 per person.
