A few of her songs are collaborations but all have the distinct mark of Elle as she interprets them in her music.
A born musician, Elle was raised in Vermont but spent much of her childhood on the road performing with her four siblings and her mother as they traveled to folk song festivals and other events. She has been a working actor and dancer, as well, since the age of eight and has been featured in many music videos and small films.
At the age of 11, she joined a world music group, Village Harmony and with them toured through Europe, Canada and the US.
Band members include Billy Schleifer, Will Carpenter, and Joe Mott on electric guitar and harmonies; Nic Speck on bass and harmonies and Adrian Ost on drums. Elle, herself, plays acoustic guitar and does the lead vocals.
Influenced by the Beatles, Joni Mitchel. Jason Mraz, and Eminem, Elle writes new songs every week and has a prodigious amount of material from a variety of genres. Think of the music of Avril, Pink, Aly & AJ.
The Best provides songs as Psycho, The Best (Album Name as well), Tell Me You're Lucky, Hired Gun, Innocent Eyes, Open Up, Days Go By, Its Okay, Return, Walk Away, The Ones.
Listen to the music of Elle and you will be in for a unique treat. Elle regularly appears at the Pig and Whistle in Hollywood, The Joint in Beverly Hills, The Universal Bar and Grill in North Hollywood, The Cat Club and Rainbow Room in Los Angeles, as well as sites in Washington DC and Montpelier, VT
