If the new Apple iPhone 5s commercial (with the infectious chorus of Gigantic by The Pixies blaring throughout) is anything to go by, the dawn of covers and remixes of classic 80s/90s bands is upon us. And you know what, I'm ok with that, in fact it's about time! Oh Kim Deal they just don't make ladies like you anymore, or Frank Black for that matter (jk). So it seems kismet that 90s industrial pioneers Godhead released a fresh remix album today.
Defined as ‘the nature of God,' which to "us that's music" points out Jason C. Miller, lead singer and founder of Godhead. The band who were first introduced to the masses by that 'lunchbox' wielding, poster boy for marching band, Brian—known to the rest of the world as Marilyn Manson—who they toured extensively with. As well as; Linkin Park, Slipknot, Disturbed, Black Sabbath, Rammstein and even GWAR, back in the day.
Now their new 'The Shadow Realigned' album features 14 remixes from 14 different producers,"I also went back into the vault and finished 3 unreleased tracks, Godhead's original 'To Heal' and 2 covers: 'Never Let Me Down Again' by Depeche Mode and'God of Thunder' by Kiss" notes Miller. You can't really get any more diverse than that!"

It's safe to say that he's got all his bases covered. But pray tell, where has Godhead been for over a decade? After relentlessly touring to audiences of 3 million in the 90s, with their music appearing on major motion soundtracks; as well as being featured on TV shows like CBS'"NFL Today," they continued working in the studio. Successfully exploring different mediums and platforms. "Now that we have the opportunity, we thought it would be great to remix each song and give our fans a completely new look at our material. The level of talent involved is incredible. I can't wait for you to hear it!"
