Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls Review - England's Finest Rocks Boston House of Blues

Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls took the stage at Boston House of Blues on November 30th, 3013 and rocked this city.  Turner's performance was electrifying.  Incredible energy, exceptional stage presence, English charm, and outstanding music.  Turner has the perfect mix to give an out of this world performance.  A talented artist from Meonstoke, Hampshire, Turner's taking the U.S by storm lighting up the stage with his folk/punk music and captivating charisma.  Once he takes the stage you can't take your eyes off him.

Turner's fifth studio album Tape Deck Heart was released on April 22nd, 2013.  It's predecessors include Sleep is for the Week (2007), Love Ire & Song (2008), Poetry of the Deed (2009), England Keep My Bones (2011).  Tape Deck Heart shows Turners extraordinary talent and originality.  He's an artist that performs with passion, spirit, and powerful vocals.  When he sings you can see and hear his love of music and his energy's contagious.  Songs like “Recovery”, “The Way I Tend to Be”, “Polaroid Picture”, and “Oh Brother” got the crowd roaring.  Nonstop dancing, exceptional music, and Turner's unprecedented charisma with the audience made this a five star show.  Turner sings it in “Four Simple Words”, “I wanna dance”.  Turner danced along with the applauding audience, leading them in endless celebration.

Frank Turner will reignite his tour January 30th 2014, touring Europe with his band Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls.  Rocking every venue with sensational energy and stellar music.  Turner’s then returning to the U.S to play both weekends of Coachella in Indio, California.  Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls will hit the stage on April 13th and 20th, 2014.  He then travels to New York, NY to play The Governor's Ball on June 6th, 2014.  Hopefully this is just the first three performances for the U.S.  Every time I play Tape Deck Heart I think back to that performance at Boston House of Blues.  If he’s coming to a venue near you then go see this unforgettable performance.
