Nail Garden- Indulge yourself in Brentwood

Nail Garden celebrated it’s opening in Brentwood Gardens on San Vincente blvd. Monday May 2nd, with an annual beauty for cause spring toy drive event benefiting the UCLA Mattel children’s hospital, hosted by Brandon Barash(General Hospital) and Natalie Hall( All My Children).

My evening started with some delicious chocolate cup cakes with mint cream from Goodie Girls and a delicious CBTL cappuccino chased by a Smart Water and some fresh fruit.

You may wonder why this nail salon feels different and notice there is a real tree in the back of the room that creates the illusion of you being in a secret Garden. This is not by accident. The owners have been in the business for 7years and were the first high-end nail salon in Studio city. They pride themselves for hand selecting a small group of nail technician whose biggest desire is to ensure satisfaction and get repeat business.

With high-tech, top of the line massage chairs from European Touch, painted skies and cork flooring, the owners have definitely put enough thought into the décor to create an unparalleled atmosphere of tranquility. They also pride themselves for the highest quality of cleanliness and sterilization by packaging all utilities used and a crystal Clean Pipe Free technology that prevents a backflow of your H2O in the pedicure basin. I guess that means no more dipping those feet in backwash.

Nail garden treatments are priced as follows:

*Manicure/ Pedicure Combo for $30 or the indulgent

*Bliss Spa combo for $69 (which includes a neck/shoulder massage and a hot paraffin wax treatment).

*Acrylics go for $40 by the set and gels for $50.

The salon also offers a variety of waxing services and a kids menu for age10 & under.

I was able to get a nail polish change with Tee Ho, who swiftly took care of me and applied the polish from OPI after filing my nails down. A 10-minute demo of foaming cleanser, scrub, serum and balm from a representative of One Love Organics proved that there is a way of keeping your skin organic and healthy despite all the exhaust and dirt in the air. The products feel incredibly light on the skin and contain a preservative free and nutritional formula that will leave your skin clean and moisturized but not dry.

Yaotl from the upstairs Body Allure day spa worked on my neck and shoulder for 10 minutes and rebalanced my chi. A wonderful peaceful experience considering I was in the back room of the opening of the Nail Garden.
