Cristophe Salon Beverly Hills is right in the heart of all of the hustle and bustle of Beverly Hills, yet whatever preconceived notions you might have of this trendy, upscale city, they leave as soon as you walk through the front door.
While the Cristophe Salon gives off a Hollywood glitzy vibe and you will see stylists galore and people getting pampered in likely the biggest salon in Beverly Hills, it won’t take long for you to feel as if you are the center of attention. Prepare to be pampered and catered to the rest of the day and make sure you taste one of the café style cappuccinos while getting your hair done.
The staff at Cristophe will make you feel at ease whether you are a long time client or you just happened to wander in off of Beverly Drive. They find out what you are looking for and they do an extraordinary job of taking what you want and working in their own expertise until you come to a mutual meeting of the minds on how you want your hair to look.
“Cristophe is definitely a fashion forward thinking salon, people come in here and know that we have the latest styles and trends. We are always more up to date on the newest things as opposed to other salons,” stylist Valarie Galoriel said. “This salon has an amazing ability to facilitate change while being respectful of the client.”
On this day with a client not wanting to cut her long tresses and looking for a color adjustment, Cristophe teamed up and to make the day go not only smoothly but to make sure that it would end with a happy client. Coloring specialist Cameron Santiago suggested cutting a few inches off because with his expert eye he could spot the split ends and the damage that this hair had. Cameron pointed out that once the hair is damaged and left uncut, the split ends will just keep going higher and higher. Long hair certainly can be a thing of beauty, but you still have to get it cut, about every three months, and you have to take care of it or one day those beautiful locks will turned into a damaged head of hair that will leave you trying to figure out how to pull off a reclamation project.
“When you start a career, you would think 40 years later you would be tired of it, but 40 years later, I love it as much as the first day I started,” Cristophe said.
The love of his profession is carried out in his salon and in his staff. This was not a reality show with bickering workers, all you see is camaraderie and everyone putting in a high level of effort to make sure whether it is your client or someone else’s, that they go home loving how they look. I was able to catch Cristophe working on a longtime client’s hair on this Saturday afternoon, and who better to give their thoughts.
“Not only is Cristophe the best stylist around, but he is also the finest human being,” longtime client Roberta Chochinov said. “He has just done wonders for me over the years and always takes a true interest”
