When I walked in
Warren-Tricomi L.A., I felt comfortable and relaxed. The positive energy pervaded the salon. I was offered coffee, orange juice, or water. I chose their wonderful espresso then I plunged onto their big, comfy couch before getting all beautiful.
Stacy Heitman is an expert colorist. She’s fun and full of spirit and made the time go by fast while getting my hair colored -- she took me right into her care. She said she's always felt like an artist and wants her clients to look beautiful.
I was unsure about what color to put in my hair, but
Stacy knew quickly what would make me look great. She took my drab hair and added a base, highlights and gloss for lots of shine. There was nothing damaging to my hair.
Stacy creates color that can range from natural and subtle to bold and inventive. She is always looking for new inspiration to give her clients a glamorous color.

Stacy graduated from the
Aveda Institute Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a color expert,
Stacy creates hair color that is glamorous and refreshing. “You can put any color on any client, but if they are not going to maintain it, what's the point," said Stacy. “I always want my clients to look and feel their best.”
After my color treatment, I went to get my hair washed and rinsed. I have a tender scalp and they were careful to massage my head rather than pull my hair -- this is rare. Then I was transferred to
Kasumi Grillo for a cut, style, and blow dry.
Kasumi had passion for hair and beauty since she was 5 years old - she made things prettier. Braiding, washing and combing out hair, putting flowers in the other little girl’s ponytails. Her steady hands and dexterity were also used to help stitch up wounds after medical procedures.
I couldn’t explain the kind of cut I wanted to
Kasumi, but I took a picture of the style I wanted and
Kasumi, gave me the exact haircut. I couldn’t be happier.
Kasumi, went to Japan’s most prestigious school,
Kokusai Bunka. This institution emphasizes holistic, nurturing beauty and “omoiyari (caring)” for her clients.
During her training, there were many competitions that were held between her school and some of the other top schools around the nation. These competitions were sponsored by some of the biggest names in the industry such as
Vidal Sassoon, Toni&Guy, and many others. These competitions went from local, to regional, to national, and in every competition,
Kasumi was always in the top 5. She entered not only hair, but nails, painting, make-up, and kimono competitions.
She then came to California to work in Hollywood where she was able to slow down and really get to know her clients. In September of 2007 she joined the team at
Warren Tricomi
in West Hollywood and has quickly built up a loyal clientele. When asked about working with celebrities here in Hollywood, her reply is that celebrities are people just like everyone else. Everyone is beautiful, and her passion is to help each and every person explore and realize their individual beauty.
