A few days ago I had the fortune of being invited to The Palm in WeHo to an exclusive, invite-only media tasting dinner hosted by the owner and Vice-president of the restaurant group Bruce Bozzi, where they delighted us with 6 courses that were a mix of new additions to the menu along with classic dishes with a renovated presentation.

They had reserved the back room in the restaurant for us where as soon as you walked in you could feel the excitement of my coleagues waiting to sink their bites into what it seems to be a delicious night, I mean dinner!
We had waiting in the tables to share a Carpaccio of Beef Tenderloin, Beefsteak Tomato Capri and a Bread Basked which we finally got to try during the toast and while watching a very interesting and informative video about The Palm and its history.

Later we started with the 1st course which included Iceberg Lettuce Wedge with blue cheese, walnuts, bacon, cherry tomatoes, chives and onions and Jumbo Shrimp Coktails with horseradish.

2nd course was formatted by a Chilean Sea Bass corn relish, delicious Bozzy Burguers aged gouda, Hand Cut French Fries seasoned with parmesan and garlic and Brussels Sprouts lemon brown butter.

Still alive and wanting to try more we dept ourselves in the 3rd one that started with a fabulous and very well cooked Prime New York Strip, the spectacular specialty (with no doubt) Jumbo Cold Water Nova Scotia Lobster of 15 ounce with fresh lemon and butter on the side, goat cheese whipped potatoes and for the vegetarians some Green Beans with paper flakes and pine nuts.

And finally we made it and had to order a very hot green tea to start helping with the digestion and get ready to just "try" a "small" piece of their Iced Carrot cake of 7 layers with cream cheese fillings and toasted pecans and just because they were there a couple of their warm doughnuts dusted with cinnamon sugar with chocolate and strawberry sauce.




In Los Angeles, there is not a better place to see and be seen than at The Palm.The Palm in West Hollywood has been a staple with celebrities since it opened in 1975, when The Palm had only three other restaurants. Today, celebrities like Mike Myers and Adam Sandler grace the walls as well as the tables of The Palm in West Hollywood while their established colleaguesBilly Crystal and Brian Dennehy are content doing the same, as they have been for years.
