Hard Rock Cafe Vegetarian Menu - A Tasty Vegetarian Twist

The Hard Rock Cafe has conquered rock n' roll, memorabilia, the restaurant world and even the world itself with their "Burger World Tour". So what is left? The Hard Rock Cafe decided to take on their biggest challenge to date, cauliflower as part of their meatless menu that is available through November 13th.

Cauliflower Burger

The Hard Rock Cafe always entices guests with an ever-changing and creative menu. While those juicy burgers will please almost everyone, the Hard Rock Cafe decided to go after the crowd that is looking for something else to go with their rock n' roll experience, vegetarians.

Cauliflower Burger Wings

The first thing I will do is warn the vegetarians out there, guard your plates. These dishes are to tasty that the non-vegetarians out there are going to love these as well. The menu has to begin with cauliflower because the Hard Rock Cafe turned that unappealing vegetable you knew all too well from childhood into something spectacular. Trying to comprehend what a cauliflower "wing" looks or tastes like might be a little difficult to do, but it actually isn't. The leap from a real chicken wing to the cauliflower variety is a short leap and one that is well worth taking. Each cauliflower piece is breaded, deep-fried and then given a dousing of slightly spicy Buffalo sauce. What you are given is a crispy, but far more healthy version of the original and amazing the cauliflower has very similar texture to chicken in this format. These wings are so addicting you won't be able to stop eating them and for those of you who love Buffalo wings, you will find yourself ordering the cauliflower version over the chicken version. They are that good.

Ratatouille Flatbread

If that was not impressive enough, the Hard Rock Cafe also created a cauliflower burger. A combination of shredded cauliflower, garlic, egg, goat cheese and oregano is all brought together with a breadcrumb crust to create this burger. This is definitely not going to be in terms of flavor anything like a typical all-beef Hard Rock burger, but it is loaded with flavor. It also has a great crunch, you could imagine a fried chicken sandwich and it holds its form perfectly. Give me the cauliflower burger over a veggie burger any day.

Fennel Beet Orange Salad

The Hard Rock decided to make grilled ratatouille vegetables to focal point of their ratatouille flatbread and grilled ratatouille wrap. The pizza is the perfect thin and crispy flatbread that the Hard Rock uses for all of their pizzas and is loaded with shredded Romano and mozzarella cheese to compliment the vegetables. 

Wascally Wabbit (alcohol free)

Two salads that are also new for this menu allowed the Hard Rock to get creative with the ingredients and they did just that. The Pico de Gallo quinoa arugula salad has a long name, but it has a long list of ingredients to go with it including the trio of fresh Pico de Gallo, quinoa and chopped cilantro mixed with arugula. That combination is then flavored with shredded Brussels sprouts, spicy pecans, feta cheese and craisins and then tossed in a citrus vinaigrette and finished off with lime juice. This is one salad that not only packs a lot of flavor but is satisfying enough to act as your entire meal. The fennel, beet and orange salad gives you a little more light and refreshing taste with fresh orange, mint, cilantro and spring greens tossed in a garlic, lime and cumin vinaigrette and topped with roasted beets and crisp fennel. Both salads are a great change from the typical salad you might order out.
