In a city where healthy restaurant options never sleep the Westside is lucky enough to have another new addition to the family. Feed Body & Soul is a new restaurant in the heart of Venice inspired by the simple concept that eating well can be a daily indulgence. The mission is based on quality fresh ingredients paired with a simple, modern and clean presentation that will satisfy palates and comfort souls.
Upon entering Feed one might think they are going to a new and swanky bar. Well, it is indeed a bar but one of fresh juice and smoothie combinations. As an example order up a Ginger and Lemongrass or Pineapple Curry refreshment. For those that prefer to have their daily alcohol Feed does create unique and fresh fruit infused alcoholic beverage combinations like the Spiced Pear Toddy.
We were seated in the back patio area which like the food appeared clean, cozy and comfortable. Upon perusal of the menu there were numerous unique and healthy items that would excite both nutrition buffs and the plain hungry at heart. For those who are gluten free you can look forward to your new favorite place where multiple choices abound. Feeling parched after walking through the bar we initiated to feed our body and soul (pun intended) with some of their unique liquid nectar.

In general, Feed Body & Soul does live up to its promise of healthy, clean, tasty meal options. For those into health and wellness you will certainly appreciate the nutrition value paired with taste. For those like my food friend, a 6'4 meat and potato eating male, it might leave you longing for more. However, there is something to be said for a large athletic male enjoying a healthful meal even if left a little hungry. I myself felt satiated and comfortable. The price is average for typical Los Angeles but some may desire larger portion sizes. That said the ambiance is great, the food selection unique and the fresh ingredients and combinations appreciated. Thus, in conclusion if health and nutrition paired with food quality and taste is what excites you then Feed Body & Soul is a must visit to accomplish exactly what the name suggests.
