Beautiful fountain outside Xandros
Hundreds of people showed up at the grand opening of X
andros - the new, hip and trendy Greek Restaurant on La Cienega’s Restaurant Row in Beverly Hills in early October, 2010 with a grand spanking bang!
Beautiful decor and friendly staff
Xandros is about eating fantastic food, enjoying entertainment with live music, belly dancers and sword dancers. Even the waitress’ get up and do a number. Xandros has the ambiance of pure warmth with attendees clapping hands to the entertainment. The mood of joy and excitement swarmed the room and everyone felt the Greek vibe having been fed abundantly with lovely food and drink-uniting with one another. Among the attendees were Greek actors Alexis Georgoulis, Christos Vassilopoulos, Louis Mandylor, producer Straton Leopold and Miley Cyrus.
Owner Adam Kariotoglou
If I was given my last choice of meal on earth, Xandros would be on the top of the list with my family and friends. The menu has a long list of Greek specialties created by Owner Adam Kariotoglou and his chefs using quality ingredients from around the world, in addition to local farmers for the freshest produce.
All the food was amazing
Everything we ate had exotic flavors: Watermelon salad, Lamb chops, king size shrimp, and salmon. The delicious sea bass is delivered and prepared by manager Dimitri who creates a show in the preparation. And of course the desserts were to-die-for!!--Pistachio sorbet and rice pudding that will explode in your mouth. Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for their traditional Baklava and their Baklava cheesecake, but maybe next time. Even their teas are unusual with choices like: cherry, jasmine and lavender. My new favorite is the watermelon mojito
All specialty drink are made with hand squeezed juices, organic fruit and fresh herbs and are $15 and below. My new favorite is the watermelon mojito.
