(Santa Monica, CA) July 29, 2008 – A line formed around the block just a few streets from the beach in
Santa Monica as celebrities, partiers and well-wishers clamored to enter
Wokcano for its grand opening.

Great crowd for a great night
|
Inside, the party was intense. Packed with smiling faces and great conversation. Waitresses zig-zag the room offering delicious beverages. Others carrying trays of bite-sized delicacies. It’d be impossible not to enjoy.
There they are!
Wokcano’s Restaurant & Lounge brought out celebrities.
Carl Weathers held camp in a back corner. He sipped from
Trump Vodka and entertained friends. “I’m here today to enjoy a fun night and relax a bit. The drinks are good. Wet and wild. Loving it.”
WCW Wrestler Diamond Dallas Page made his way through the crowd, surrounded by beautiful women. The tough guy wore a smile. “Tonight’s a fun night. Good crowd. Glad to be here.”
The beautiful
Cassandra Hepburn caught looks everywhere she walked. Her beauty is intoxicating.
Carmen Perez of “Nip/Tuck” was floating on the stairwell with friends. Her engaging smile beamed from across the room.

More and More
As you enter the restaurant, you quickly realize it’s a two-tier building. More room for more fun. But only after you enter the second floor’s 450-person capacity patio and dance floor do you realize how truly immense the area is. Plenty of room for dancing, partying and meeting amazing people.
Best of all, at the far end of the patio is an
ultra-exclusive VIP third tier. A black and white movie projects on a screen. Lush couches adorn the comfortable loft. This is where you want to be.
Smokin’ Fire
Just when you’ve tried the food, enjoyed the beverages and have toured the full facility your attention is pulled near the patio. The partiers spread creating an open stage and a visual that you have to see to believe is about to begin.

Fire swirls thrill crowd
|
Two fire dancers from “InspireMovement” practically materialize in front of your eyes, leaving only a trail of fire behind them. They twirl, shake and spin creating magical (and hot) sights. But then, the risk factor skyrockets!
The girl, scantily clad wearing mostly flames, climbs on the guy and gyrates on him, twisting and shimmying. Shooting out flames of all shapes and sizes, thrilling the audience. Every move seemingly becomes more risky, every moment she seems seconds from disaster. But of course, it’s all part of the show.
Better and better
With a crowd-pleasing reception like this, it’s no wonder
Wokcano is so popular and now the chain is growing.
Wokcano plans to open a number of additional venues nationwide over the few years starting with a
Long Beach location in November 2008 as well as an exciting renovation to the popular
3rd Street location in January 2009.
