Tinseltown's undying thirst for "something new," Shelter offers a chic option on the Sunset Stip, catering to Hollywood's up-and-coming stars and full-fledged VIP's. Swapping out the faded 80's glam of the Coconut Teaszer for a little new millennium flash, Shelter's draping tapestries and cavernous dining nooks invoke an ambiance of Arabian decadence and old-world mystery. The staff at Shelter only furthers the restaurant's mystique with servers rushing from table to table donning dominatrix garb, angel wings, Mohawks and plenty of 'tude.

When ordering, resident chef, Andrew Degroot relieves you of all decision-making stress by offering prix-fixe four and five-course menus. Featured items include lobster corn bisque, ahi tuna tartar, alaskan halibut pan seared on saffron english pea risotto and grilled filet mignon with potato gratin and roasted portabella mushroom with shallot sauce. Dinner seatings are booked from 8:45PM-10PM. Post-10PM diners can nibble from a light menu of crispy chicken dumplings with yuzu soy sauce, mini vegetarian pizzas, or chicken quesadilla brie cheese and candied walnuts.
