In 2002, Chipotle became the first national restaurant chain to serve naturally raised pork. Chipotle then began serving naturally raised chicken and beef in a number of markets, coming from animals that receive no antibiotics or hormones, and fed a pure vegetarian diet. Today, all chicken served at Chipotle is naturally raised and naturally raised beef is in more than half of its restaurants. Chipotle also serves cheese and sour cream made with milk from cows that are not treated with the synthetic hormone rBGH. That may sound like a lot of information, but what you will find is that by preparing food in this style, you are not only going to be putting a healthier product into your body, but you will be amazed at the taste difference over other similar style restaurants.
