Totally Looped: Improv Goes to the Movies

By Brandy Walker

You've never seen a movie quite like this before.

An hour's worth of old film clips may seem like a day at cinema class, but when Totally Looped turns down the volume to provide their own voice and sound effects at the suggestions of the audience, you're in for real entertainment.  It's the live version of Mystery Science Theater, but with more wit and charm and less alien.

It's been called "The greatest unknown show in Los Angeles."

Totally Looped features seven veteran comedians you'd normally have to turn on the television to see.

Three time Emmy winner Dan Castellaneta (The Simpsons), Richard Kuhlman (Parenthood, Seinfeld), Deb Lacusta (The Simpsons, The Tracy Ulman Show), Joe Liss (That 80's Show, Curb Your Enthusiam), Gail Matthius (Saturday Night Live), Rick Overton (Groundhog Day, EdTV), and Angela V. Shelton (Mr. Show, Girls Behaving Badly) make up the cast.  It's an "Instant Theater Production" created and directed by Vince Waldron.

The next show will feature Paul Dooley as a special guest player.
