The Miser and the Thief

The 28th anniversary revival production of AUTHOR! AUTHOR! - an evening with Sholom Aleichem, continues to enthrall audiences at Santa Monica Playhouse. Arguably the longest-running Jewish musical in Los Angeles theatre history, this heart-warming production entertains young and old alike!

  SHOLOM ALEICHEM (Chris DeCarlo, reprising his award-winning portrayal of the world's most beloved Yiddish author) remembers his first tryst with The Cantor's Daughter (Evelyn Rudie, center) and her nosey chaperone (Rachel Galper) in a scene from the classic musical comedy "AUTHOR! AUTHOR! -- AN EVENING WITH SHOLOM ALEICHEM", playing Saturdays and Sundays at 6pm, through
