Circus Tent
|
Cirque Berzerk unique display has one bothered in their seat, while devilishly fancying more. This is not just a circus, but a “family” of performers and musicians, co-founded by the married couple,
Suzanne Bernel and
Kevin Bourque. They give an unforgettable performance from start to finish.

Circus goers

Walking into what people call “The Cornfeild,” there is a flood of people awaiting the performance. Most are waiting in line for tickets or grabbing a bite to eat. Make sure to partake in the kettle-corn and hamburgers. Yes, it is worth the wait. One is surrounded by the transformation of a field to tents with firry displays at the
Los Angeles State Historic Park in downtown LA. If one goes back stage they will experience the extremes of the make-up artists.

Ready to start the show?
One seats themselves as the lights dim the show begins. Be shocked by the seven sick renditions including jaw-dropping acrobatics, stunning aerialists, fiery burlesque dancers, gothic stilt walkers, punk rock clowns, psychedelic vaudevillian tomfoolery, and contortionists. Along with the performance, there is an original dark, sexy musical score. The outlandish acts consist of lust, death, fire, siren, debonair, skin, evil, and flight. Try to keep the mouth closed as the performers place themselves on the edge.

Lustful act

The moments that stick out are the mirror-image trampoline act, eerie look of the psychedelic clowns, and alternative band rocking out. Gasping as one sees the trampolinists barely missing each other, while flipping through the air.

Four-Man Act -Trampolinists

Clowns pass by glancing at the audience with a bizarre stare. Throughout the performance one is engaged by the dramatizing music synchronized for every act. The action does not stop here.

After Party
|
After the show, The Vaud & The Villians takes stage in “The Berzerk Lounge” with trumpets, trombone, guitars, piano and sensually dressed singers. Don’t be surprised if once the band starts, the feet move with it as one tries to keep away the heebie-jeebies from the night’s show.
