Hey, get your minds out of the gutter! I meant laughing while seated in a beautifully refurbished, comfortable, classy, state of the art venue with quality lights and sound' which takes you from ordinary into extraordinary and makes for a relaxing, fun night out. This was my ACME experience.
I was able to valet park steps away from the entrance and discovered that a beautiful Italian restaurant was attached to the theatre, where patrons are able to catch a cocktail at the bar before the show.
Recently, ACME Comedy Theatre has come under the direction and ownership of Travis Oates, who is an accomplished writer/actor/comedien. His book on writing sketch comedy, 'The ACME Method' is now in bookstores. The ACME Comedy Theatre features five different main stage companies, with different shows on different nights. 'Charlie and the Chocolate Sunday Show' is the Bravo Company's newest sketch comedy revue and runs every Sunday starting at 8:00 p.m. through October 2, 2005. This show is rated "R" for language and sexual situations.
It is written by and stars Heather Goetz, Brian Habicht, Tim Harrington, Ryce Hetherington, Kim Huff, Sean McGinty, Robert Moon, Jim Newman, Jeremy Saville, Eric Stitt, Pauline Yasuda, and Neal Young.
