Univeral Studios Tour Review - Comedian Jimmy Fallon performs his new hit single "Tram-tastic"

Universal City, California, June 2nd 2011 - Comedian Jimmy Fallon rocked center stage at Universal Studios Hollywood to perform his original rendition of "Tram-tastic", a new theme song he wrote to mark his small screen debut as "Host" of the theme park's signature behind-the-scenes Studio Tour, an attraction that has taken over 150 million visitors behind the scenes of the movie and television industry's biggest hits. Fallon took to the stage and belted out his new song with an energetic Flash Mob of “Tram-tastic” back-up dancers who shook, rattled and rolled in choreographed unison. Comedian and late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon is the new "Video Host" for the Universal Studios Tour

Jimmy Fallon, star of “Late Nate with Jimmy Fallon,” will join a roster of seasoned professionals as they lead guests on a tour of the world’s largest working movie and television production facility. Fallon will introduce a series of entertaining videos on the HD monitor located within each tram car to augment the “live” narration of the Studio Tour Guides. Each clip features Fallon inserting himself into a variety of roles within a Universal Studios backlot location that replicate an array of movie scenes and depict how various setting are utilized in film production.

Jimmy Fallon said, “We really had fun with my filming role. We brought some writers out from our show and added some jokes; more play with the Studio Tour guides and tram drivers. The Tour itself is a classic, a really great experience. For anyone with any interest in show business, it’s all there; the glamour, the glitz, all the hard work that goes into making a movie or TV show can be experienced on the Universal Studios Hollywood Studio Tour. I’m proud to be part of it.”

 Studio Tour guests will also recognize some of the studio’s other famous production locations including the “War of the Worlds” airplane crash set; ABC’s hit series “Desperate Housewives” Wisteria Lane; the Psycho House-Bates Motel and the popular Western, European and Mexican Streets. Other notable attractions on the Tour include a trip through the town of “Amity” home to a certain familiar shark, an unnerving visual experience from the action adventure film “The Mummy” and a collection of picture cars from the films “The Fast & The Furious”, “Jurassic Park”, and the “Deathmobile” from “Animal House” to name a few.

Universal Studios Guide Molly Orr led Jimmy Fallon and his special guests on the Tram ride showcasing the sweeping enhancements to the Tour including the addition of “King Kong 360 3-D,” the world’s largest, most intense 3-D experience. Additionally, there are over four acres of newly rebuilt New York Street locations and an area that features 13 city blocks of buildings, and working shooting locations that offer guests a front row look at Hollywood filmmaking. The Universal Studios backlot, a celebrated Hollywood landmark, has been the setting for countless commercials, television shows and feature films.
